If you have noticed, the world is not getting any better. In 2003, there was the deadly SARS (Sever Acute Respiratory Syndrome) epidemic, which spread across 29 different countries from November 2002 to July 2003 resulting in 8437 infections and 813 deaths. Today, there is again a deadly virus with the potential of worldwide impact, the 2019 Novel Coronavirus. Just as we look at war, political unrest, social degradation, and devastating weather patterns as signs that the world is moving closer to the necessary return of Jesus Christ, disease epidemics are an area to watch as well. Let’s see what the Bible has to say about diseases so we might be watchful prophetically and take action personally.
