What does the term “blowing of trumpets” actually mean? What should be in our spiritual hearing of a trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets?  It is not the instrument that is most important, it is the SOUND that the instrument makes signaling or alarming an event that should be remembered. Remembering that sound, or the events when the alarm, signal, sound of the trumpet was/is/will be made that is important.
